Managers move in to residence halls the Sunday before Freshman Move In. Manager Training will begin on Monday, August 15 and continue throughout the week. Managers should plan to be available for work shifts throughout this period. Specific training details will be emailed during the summer. Freshman move-in day is TBD. Student managers, Set Up Crew, and Info Desk employees will have training on Tuesday and will be required to work beginning Freshman Move In day.
Begin work spring semester: first day of Sorority Recruitment.

You will be required to be on call periodically and required to work early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as necessary.
You will have a shared responsibility with the other student managers in serving as the Benson Center student night manager throughout each semester, periodically working on site from 10:00pm-midnight and closing the building at the end of the shift.
The employment dates listed above are mandatory. Not attending training or not returning to campus early to work during Sorority Recruitment can be grounds for termination of employment.
Student managing is a full academic year commitment. We are not able to grant leaves of absence for semesters abroad, lengthy service trips, internships or student teaching.
