How would you best describe your team’s role?
We’re a small group of employees that take over the switchboard in the afternoons after our University Switchboard Operator has left. We answer any calls that come to the university and then transfer them to the department or person they are trying to contact.
What’s the best thing about being a Student Manager?
Being a student manager provides me with the opportunity to interact with others in both a professional and personal sense. I act as a liaison between my employees and our supervisors. This gives me the opportunity to gain professional leadership experience while in college, which will come in handy in my future career endeavors.
